Long time lurker, first time poster.

First up let me just say thanks to rollitup community. I couldn't have grown my own without you guys and your limitless resources.

I'm considering my second indoor grow at some point (a smaller scale 250W HPS setup), but this time I wanted to make it more of my own personal show piece.

Is it possible/advisable to grow other plantlife in my grow area? I was thinking about things like turfing or growing wheatgrass. Possibly a few flowers, a minature green tea tre...etc etc. The centerpiece and key component will of course be my good friend maryjane.

The seeds I'll buy will be feminized.

Yup go for it.
The more and different types of plants you learn how to grow, the better you will become at growing cannabis.
Basil, Sage and other herbs are easy to grow from seed.
An easy to grow nice flower is dwarf or thumbalina zinnia.
Try... it's fun!
