Hey everybody, I'm a newb, with some serious time constraints, like 2-3 weeks max. This is my first and only grow and its about 8 weeks into the flowering stage. I fear its growing slowly which I can't afford with my time constraints. About 15-20% of the white hairs are reddish brown and when i touch a bud my fingers reek of thc but the plant doen't smell from a distance. Is it at all possible to harvest it now and get any decent thc out of it? Keep in mind that I will have to harvest and start drying it no later than a week from now anyway, and the earlier the better. Please help a desperate newb.

You said in the first sentence 2-3 weeks. My advice is give it every hour you can, it will be a good investment.

From the sounds of it, you still have about another one-two weeks of flowering left. You wanna wait till at least 80% of those pistils are orange. If you pick too early, you will miss out on the window of peak potency. Patience if a virtue, and trust me it's really hard to wait, but you must! haha

Thanks for the advice guys but again, I got some rapidly declining time constraints. I'm getting married in mid october and the wife doesn't put up with growing marijuana or sitting around and smoking it all day, so I got to harvest it, dry it (as best I can) and smoke it all by mid october. It's 3 and a half feet tall so thats a lot of stuff to smoke in what will be about a week to do it in. So again, all I want to know is, if I pull it out of the ground this weekend and start drying it, will it be smokeable even though only about 25% of the white hairs will be brown? I'm a patient man but it's not like I can move my wedding date back haha.

do what you gotta do man ,dont piss off the lil lady b-fore the big night.chop it ,dry and cure it,and smoke dat shit.oughtta be at least a short heady high.try it again but remember the later it goes the more stoned narcotic high;amber trichs couchlock,thats what im talkin bout,meltin into tha couch shit.

Not to burst ya bubble but if she wont put up with ya growning a lil smoke are ya sure ya picked the right canidate for marrage. Believe me from the day you say "i do " it just slowly gets worse ! It takes me 2 grams of weed daily just to look at my ol lady .

Yea, first its don't smoke that stuff around me, Then its don't put that thing in me LOL. Dude get a girl that you will be able to be yourself and be accepted for who you are and what you do, I got a girlfriend that doesnt smoke,drink, or do drugs, But guess what, Shes gonna help me trim for hours without complaining Cause she accepts me for me, I am part farmer now and no girl is gonna change that!
