how can i stop my plant growing upwards

my plant is 2 weeks into flowering and its 16 inches i only have 2 feet to grow in so need it to stop really any advice would b wicked

your best bet is to tie the main stalk down with some wire or string, it will stop the stretching and help the lower branches receive more light. I had the same problem with my clone, but it should stop stretching after 3-4 weeks flower.

like majec said... there are techniques that you can preform to alter the yield and height of the plant. I would look more into doing that, im gonna start trying experimenting my next grow.

Tie it down the best you can with the LEAST amount of stress (do not "top" it) its a lil late for topping but thats just me i dont touch my plants when they are in flower. Next time if you use the same strain you will KNOW how tall they will get ! tie um down while they are in veg or top um.

Top the plant [should have been done in the nd week of flower].You lso need to take in the height that you are dealing with into account because if not then you are gonna have this problem over and over.My advice would be grow more plants but flower has soon has the plants show any sign that they have roots.S.O.G Method this can be one of the best grow techniques if done right.Make sure that all the clones have a nice couple of roots showing before putting to flower.You want to start the flowering process at around 3/4 ince this may sound small but belive me you can get some serious ganja this way.I used to grow this way but because the laws have changed in the uk i only grow 3/4 plants at most.The less plants that you grow if anything does go pear shaped you can get away with personal use rather than intent to supply.But if the area that you live in is a nice peaceful place and rule 1[NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS GROW NO ONE] Then give it a whirle it can give the grower ampul cannabis to last time unless you deal.
