First off I took some advise and purchased Peters 20-20-20, convienence is a must right now! I also switched from my Flourex CFLs to 300 watts HPS. I guess Im not to sure if my HPS is the same as most of yours . I bought them at Home Depot, They are compact flood lights,and are made by Sylvania, These will work right? My plant seems to be doing good, got a little bushier and taller first week into Flowering. I think its a Female, Im new at this so dont laugh. Instead of little balls its growing stems with leaves where the leaf and branch come together. I need someone to help me now because Im not sure how the feeding schedule should go from here on out. I also purchased some super bloom from lowes 12-56-9. Will some of you plant gods please help! You havent steered me wrong yet!
My Buddy looked at it(someone whois doing their own and I trust) and said it looked and smelled real nice.

that sounds good philli. what's the color spectrum on that HPS? im' betting it's sufficient to flower with. new leaf growth will occur in the first few days of flowering and continue as bud growth does as well. u'll see the very distinctly white hairs if it's female...coming from those areas.

start ur flowering feeding very very lightly, the super bloom, like once a week or less. use more as your plant can take it.

i'm not a plant god, but i think this is pretty decent advice. just take it slowly and carefully and you'll make it through alright.

Im not familar with an hps flood bulb never saw one before.It uses a ballast correct? And the nutes no idea as those arent really the kind for this grow 20-20-20 isnt right mix for flowering

How much did you spend on the floodlight? Why didn't you just get a growlight HPS/MH?

It says Bronze. Its been in flowering for a week and no hairs, but it does seem to be getting a lot taller.
Filthy, Im not using the 20-20-20 for flowering, I was going to start using the super bloom 12-56-9, right after it dries up a little from the flush.
The HPS looks like a CFL but it has a HPS bulb inside. Im not sure what you meant by "those arent really the kind for this grow ".

I got the flood lights realllllly cheap. I have a friend that works there.:> Do you think they will work GYGAX?

I don't know, honestly. I don't want to give you advice about something I don't know about. be careful with the flowering nutes too 56 is really high
