Have it insured, "that way you have to sign for it" and once you get the tracking number call your post office and tell them you would like to pick it up and they will hold it for you.

I have never heard of such a thing. The merchant you buy from is going to need your address. The merchant can not just send something to a particular post office. As for calling and asking them to hold a particular piece its going to draw some attention. I guess it boils down to the person you talk to and how efficient the post office is.

CAll the PO ask them how to do it, you can get it sent to you at the PO .

If your that noided just order the light if its coming 2-3 day mail tell the post office your going out of town for 3 days and hold mail then just pop in and pick it up as if on vaction hold.Id just have it sent to your house as long as the place shipping sends it unmarked dicrete
