hey guys. ive actually been on this site looking 4 tips. im a 1st time home grower. so heres my story

i got about an ounce 1 day and there were a couple seeds. my friend and i were curious to see if they were going to actually sprout. we planted about 7-10 seeds and i think all of them sprouted. its been a little bit b4 2 months since they sprouted. heres a pic. 4 some reason i feel they arent growing as fast as i thought.

right now they are under 3 day light bulbs i think 23w each. they are 100w replacements. is that a bad thing? any tips?

You are def going too want to get some better lighting in there, how about ventilation? Also any nutrients?

ya, those are stretched to shit! You should get some more lights, and bring them in closer to the plants to stop them from reaching more for the light. Check out some of the grow journals, there are a bunch that are CFL spicific that should help with certain apects of your grow. Other than that, you should be moving them to a bigger pot for sure as already stated... have fun!

And as also stated, it's time to invest in some nutrients, as that yellowing you have there looks like the start of nitrogen diff. I say that, because your plants are 2months old and show little other signs of stress (other than the stretching I mean so your water must be good as far as PH goes, looks really healthy, nicely done.

yeh def light issue, stretching seems to be a little excessive. IMO u'll need to triple the lights or go a small HID to get some decent results. Also check the actual K rating of the bulbs, I believe they might be at the wrong end of the spectrum.

Pots they are in also look way undersized to me. I'd transplant when new lights are sorted.

You probably need to get them into some bigger pots.

the k rating of the bulb is 6500 K. the ventilation- ive been getting a fan in there 4 a couple hours a day. and 4 nutrients i got sumthing at home depot that was a 12-12-12. use that 1st half of week and 2nd half reg water. and def going 2 move them into bigger pots soon. thanks 4 all the help! so far. il b gettng better pictures either 2morrow or this week.

looks like they arent getting their nutrients too cause the new parts of the leaf are way to light. you should probably have at least 150-250 watts of CFL for that many plants if you want to see some good growth.

Where are they? if you could make an enclosed area you can get the humidity better as well

Yo my dude,
your 6500 k is good for veg growth but your'e gonna want to get some 2700 k for flowering. Also you're gonna want to keep that fan in there all the time or at least when the lights are on and yeah transplant em to bigger pots, but so far so good.
