Little Advice Please
Hello all,
I am very new to growing, and i have did a few days of reading on whatever i could get my hands on, on this site. But it comes down to this.
I received a plant from a neighbor a week ago that is 3 foot tall. When i received it, it was in very poor conditions. Most of the tips were fallen over as if it were dieing. I replanted it in fresh soil & soil mix. And i have been watering it right(soil wetness meter). Its now doing about 90% better.
Its in my closet thats lined with aluminum foil, two 120w grow bulbs, and a small fan. Figured since it was only 1 big pot with 4 separate plants in it i wouldnt need to go too big with lights and all. Now im seeing that quite a few leafs at the bottom of the plant are yellow and falling off. and a few of the big fan leafs are a little twisted and/or drooping. The conclusion i am at is eighter im paranoyed and if its just a few its ok or do i actually have a problem on my hands? If so what is it and what steps can i take?
Also i can provide pics later if needed just let me know. Thanks alot guys and this site is awesome!
[edit] Since i received the plant i have had it on a 12/12 cycle. Hope thats ok since it doesnt even show signs of male/female, or at least what i can tell from.

did you say you have 4 plants in 1 container? youll want to transplant those into seperate pots asap because they are probably fighting eachother for food and water
aluminum is a poor reflector, they sell things made of mylar at walmart for under $5, emergency blankets, windshield reflectors and shiny wrapping paper

Yes, i have 4 growing out of 1 big pot. I did not plant them that way and it did kind of concern me but i was too scared to try and separate them because the main stems are kind of close to one another and the plants are big now. Also i left this bit of info out but i guess now is a good time to bring it up, I received a 2nd plant from my neighbor 2 days ago, again with 4 plants in it (these being smaller then the others) and i separated them last night into 4 separate pots and today they are fallen over and look like there on their way to the grave, all 4. Did i damage the roots? Should i transfer the 3ft-er into 4 separate pots and take the risk?
Also kaleo, is there anything else wrong with my setup you see? lighting, cycles, ect?

you HAVE to seperate them, 4 plants cant live that close, the roots will get too tight and start suffocating each other, plus you will have lots of nutrients stuck in the extra roots. Dont worry too much about it, if you rip some roots its fine, they will recover

They will go into shock when you separate them from the stress of pulling the roots apart, just be very careful when doing so,they will wilt, don't worry that is normal. What type of lights do you have???You also need something to read temps and humidity.

I'd pick the weakest one and sacrifice it to dig down in taht area and get an idea what root structure looks like. Then you will have a better idea how to separate the other 3 with less root damage.

I have a humidity and temp reader. My temps allways between 30 and 40c and the humidity is allways between 40 and 60. is that ok? and i have 2 120w grow bulbs

What kind of grow bulbs?????Cfls???Color Temp???And your temps are too high. 30 degrees celsius is 86 degrees f. 40 degrees celsius is 104 degrees f. way too high.Humidity is fine.
