Looks nice at 3 weeks, How tall is it? remember that my recommendation is around 24'' minimum of veg before you flower. But it looks like your gonna get a couple of donkey dongs at harvest time.

I don't like to think of them as Donkey Dongs, LMAO, but I hope to harvest a plant with limited side branches, and two big cola's! I have a few other plants that I am trying different stuff with..I will post those in a few days...I will not be around much, my full time job is on the weekends..Thanks for the response Canna, and right now that little guy is about 15" tall. I think it is going to kick it into gear this week! I hope so, because I have some sativa's that want to grow right over it!

If i flowered at 24 inches, there'd be almost nothing i could to but to have a 10+foot BEAST. i'm lucky if i survive heights by flowering them from 3 inches tall.

but anyway, i somewhat use this method, as a 400W HPS only lights 12-18" of plant that produces good sized, potent buds. after that, they start to get smaller and more popcornish. All the lower branches you trim off would have done good under our good ole sun.

but think about this....

ALL those branches you cut off, instead - you could have cut ONE growth tip, and had the tops of those branches grow up and meet eachother, at the 12-18" good light zone. These branches produce very great buds along with the rest of the growth at the top. Here's a few pictures.

My plants usually double in size. I have and 8 ft ceiling. 45'' approx at harvest. IMO all the bottom stuff on the bottoms of your plants should be rooting in a humidome somewhere. Your tops would be even bigger if 1/3 of the bottom was gone. But nice buds none the less.

they sure would..... too bad i dont have time to trim undergrowth of all my plants allday long. much less creating more plants to take care of by cloning all of it. lol. but if you have that time/room - sure. just thought i'd put my two sense in, where one cut can inprove your yields just as good as trimming for two weeks straight in flower.


oh yeah.. all that worthless bottom shit you see, it's been mutated into a golden liquid... what a waste huh?
