edges of leaves curling upwards

My plant is 3 1/2 weeks veg. today i noticed that the edges of the new growth is barley curling up. I over watered it a couple days ago but it looked fine yesterday. Could this maybe be a result from the over watering?
Or could it be because i need more light? I have one 26 watt.
idk.
and is it possible to tell the sex before flowering??

tips of edges brown due to nute burns. If its not getting worse daily, it probly wont. Leaves curl down if too close to light, heat stress. Dude your plant is lookin pretty good. Just remember that MJ is a weed. Dont over nuture them, just let em grow. Good Luck bro.

should spend some money and get at least a 100w hps that light you have would b lucky to yeild you a quarter the aluminum foil is bad especially wrinkled up like that use a cardboard box and cover the inside with white printer paper wrinkled aluminum foil well alum foil in general is bad it creates hot spots on your plants

It could be the tin-foil, I learned this the hard way. It creates hot spots and can burn your plant really easily. I would get rid of that asap and replace it with something flat white or mylar. They look really healthy to me though. +reps

There is nutes that came in the miracle grow soil but other than that i dont use nutes yet. You think the soil is causing the brown tips? And thanks about the tin foil ill use the printer paper!

yes miracle grow soil is horrible the seedling cant handle that you should always start off with a promix organic no ferts also the water u use can have to high a ph you need a ph tester and ph up and down dont feed plant for a while or you can flush your soil and start over after it dries out
