MY plants are now 17-19 days old and they either have a phosohorus defiecency or i need to transplant? Will the brittle roots of a 3 week old plant peirce through 1/3 cm of jiffy pot? anyone knows if i could just put the pot in earth to reduce risk of stress?
Earth: 3in1 lightway
Lighting: 5 tubes of 750 lumens (soon to replace them with cfls)
Watering schedule: i water once every 2 days. if it gets too dry and droopy ill water the next day.
am i missing any info... if i do tell me and heres a pic...

well if those are the pots there in at 3 weeks your lucky they are alive they are stunted and bound for sure.Also use 4 foot florescent tubes as cfls suck

19 days old?!! got to be rootbound those things should be bigger by now i would transplant asap and get some good lighting in there 750 lumens is nothing you need more.....more....more i say!! lol id go with filthyfletch on this one if your gonna use flourescent lighting go with the 4 foot tubes very cheap and they will get the job, of course if you want to play with the big boys you gotta have the big toys, mh and hps lights are the best..........iMo of course

Im planning on switching to 4 23watt cfls for side lighting and 4 40 watt cfls(2600 lumens each-the big ones)

The Big ones? Those are al tiny house cfl bulbs. The biggest local hardware store have are 65 actual watt bulb s which are about 8 inches long.Big cfls are actual 150 or 250 watt bulbs which have the U shaped tubes and equal light output of 400 watt hps light they run about $90 a piece.Anything smaller is a waste of time and will just slow your grow by a month or so and leave you made with you 20 grams that cost you more to grow then just buying good midis

beleive me there not tiny. i bought then 14$ each there quite big i find. if other people can pull it out with less than what i got ill probly do better. all i want is a straight answer i hate smartass comments.

Well not sure what you consider smartass remarks but yours was.But as you were being told smartass.The cfl is a bad light which stunts the growth and the jiffy pots lock the roots and hold to much moisture so the answer straight forward and non smart is to your problemis inexpirence poor lighting to much moisture and the jiffy pots are a number 1 non no so take what you want from it and keep learning.

CFL's will work.
They are great for beginers.

Once you are succesful with cfl's you should do very well with hps.

I have 2 42w cfl's over her and she will finish flower like that.

She was the clone mom.
I have 8 other plants flowering that are under 3 more 42 w cfl's with 4 x 21" 15w gro light's for side upper side lighting.

I like to tilt them so they are at the side but mainly shining on the tops from an angle on the side.
Of course since they are tilted at angles they shine down the sides of the plants also.
