This is my first time having females plants, I only grew four and so happens all four are female. Idk about you but i think thats some luck right there, for non-feminized seed. anyways, ive heard a lot of ideas for bigger, better buds. which of these work?

-adding ash to the top of the soil and then watering

-adding sugar to the water you're watering with

-flushing with water for two weeks, nothing else

-organic blooming nutrients

and im sure there are many ive missed. can anyone tell me what actually works?

you can't get better buds if you've never had buds to get better

try not to pick them early ... your second grow will be better than your first ... i promise

My idea for bigger and better buds is to keep the plant healthy throughout the grow. I'm not a fan of all the additives that people add to their solutions - imo it just mucks up the water. A high quality hydroponic nutrient product will give your plants all they need to be healthy.

ok. so any opinions on the best nutrients for budding. and I mean the brand or title. I know theres "big bloom" and things like that. im just wondering which of the many seem to work the best for the average grower. (or a lil below in my case) lol

The best way to grow good weed is to keep your plants healthy throughout their life. End of story.

Keep your PH in check, feed less rather than more and pay close attention to your plants for signs that they are unhappy.

well ive taken very good care of the four that i have. Im wondering if thats why they all turned out female. Since the didnt go through any shock or trauma. But if that is the case i should be in good shape. I guess I'll find out in a month or few.
