how to make my plant grow faster

Hey there im a newbie in growing marijuana,

My brother gave me a plant about 1-2 months ago(Skunk) when i had it it was about 6 inches i placed it under neon lights for about a month, it went fine it was about 10 inches 1 month after, then i placed it in my backyard and theres a cat (Or something else) who bitted the stem the bite was very deep it took a while to heal(About 3 weeks) then it started to grow a lil faster but still not enough i mean after 2 months its supposed to be way bigger,i gave it fertilizers this does work but not like i expected it to.

It can't be caused by the temperature because i grow it in quebec which is one of the best place to grow i heard.

Im out of ideas for now thats why im posting this, maybe some of you can help, here's a picture of 2 1/2 month old plant (Maybe its a dwarf too...who knows)

P.S; This pic was took 6 days ago, and my plant still isnt any bigger :(

(What i'd really like is to make it taller)

There are so many factors that can cause slow growth.
What is the PH ?
What are the temps ?
How much light does it get per day ?
What nutes and ratio ?
Is it in a big enough pot, roots need room to grow.

I'd say the slower growth rate is a combination of stress, a small container, and growing it outdoor. Try transplanting it into something deeper and putting it somewhere it won't get chewed up.

The PH.. i don't know i dont have any tool to calculate it

Temps are usually 70-86F in the day & 60-70 in the night, it rained alot in the past weeks but now we're getting alot of sun.

Gets sunlight from 5 AM to 8:30 PM (so 15:30 - 16:00h of light per day)

I use home-made ferts & some bio-grow

The pot you see in the picture is the old pot, i transplanted it in a huge pot about 40 CM deep 70 CM large

Hope this help

if you want your plants to grow faster and bigger, then the answer is simple-take care of your plants daily-use nutes, keep humidity high in vegg and low in flower, water and feed regulary.

Well everything seems pretty good. As you have transported to a larger pot already and its still not growing I would put my money on a PH imbalance. I advise to invest in a PH meter so you know the PH of your water your feeding your plant. The wrong PH will cause nutrient lock which will cause slow growth. Are all the leaves very green or is there some discolouration ?

Simplysmoked is right on, but instead of planting it deep into a bucket where you are wasting valuble soil space, maybe put some chicken wire around it to make it extremely difficult for a cat to get to the plant. I introduced my cat to the girls and she started by rubbing her face against them, than she tried to take a chunk out of one of the flowers... They will certainly go after it. What Fertilizers did you give her and what is the PH? :leaf:

There's some green dark leaves and the top one's are pretty light compared to the rest

As for the water i give to it; i buy big eska spring water bottles (Cause the water in here isnt very good)

Whats more important is the PH of the water after you have mixed your nutrients in it as this is what will change the ph of your soil. You rearlly need to invest in a ph test kit in the very least so you can test the PH of the run off water when you water your plants.

If you can maintan good PH balance and dont under or over feed almost everything will look after itself.

I asked about the colour of the leaves as this would also let us know if its not getting the right nutrients. Different nutrient ingrediants lock out at different PH levels.

And how much a PH test kit would go about?
A simple PH test kit, hich are pretty crap, cost a couple of £'s here in the UK. Its better if you get a PH pen, this is a electonic stick like thing which gives very accurate reading, that will cost around £20 in the uk. Not sure where you are but if you in the states I would guess that the costs would be around the same £1 to $1

Watching it never helps dude,But if you was to put time laps photography on it you would see it grow.If you are seeing no change a couple more week's in then you have prob been over watering and the plant will be preature root bound. Also messure the plant if it is a foot high flower her I get 4/5 ounce dry of 1 ft plants all the time but i'm useing 1000 h.p.s.
