I think the replyer was saying that temps could turn the female's threads brown. They weren't flowering when i put them unedr the sheet, that happend during the sheet covering.

Possibly could be the temps, but i doubt it really. I think it's more likely to be pollinated. Those plants [the male] was quite far along really... could have easily happened if they were kept together [covered up!]

Obviously you can still smoke seeded bud - it'll still get you stoned, but it'll taste like crap.

As SOON as you see a male, kill it instantly. Dont give it the chance. Also, another thing, keep a close eye on the plants too - so you actually know when they flower [and whats female/male.]

Yea bro, Goodluck with finishing your grow but that male is Waay to far along to have not pollenated that female especially since they are right next to each other. The first couple weeks of flowering you need to keep and eye on them to see what they are doing and which sex they are, usually within the first week you can pick out the males and females.

I didn't realize they were flowering because the days are so long here right now. I think it happened because they were confused by the sheet! It's OK, though. I still have 5 more plants that arent flowers yet.

ya got to get those males out early ive gotten so good i can tell a male preflower after its been in flowering for 7 days my last seed started planyt i sex both plants after 4 days had one male and one female
