whats up,i have a question.just started my ww plants on 12\12 i have it in a stealth speaker box i had to cut holes in the back for the intake,exhaust.its in my room since it wouldn't fit in closet.i have to turn my light on for my room.i wonder if the plants get a small amount of light during 12\12 will it completely screw it up,doesn't make much since ,when a plant out doors get moonlight.what should i do .any help would be appreciated.pic coming soon

try not to turn the lights on in your room.
i have the same situation(growroom+bedroom)and i dont turn the lights on and sometimes use a small torch instead of the main light.
you can cover your grow box some more if you want but i wouldent worry too much about it and it wont screw things up unless you are continually causing light leaks.

my first grow had a shit load of light leaks never caused a problem,not saying it wont but it didnt for me.good luck

constent bright light (s) directly entering you room while lights out is bad, very bad.how ever for about 2 hours i do have a bit of natural light that enters my room threw my intake fanand have had no ill effects.

from what i have heard, if you don't have an uninterrupted dark period they may not induce flowering, or they may go into flowering, then revert bak to the vegitative stage. light during the dark cycle has also been known to cause stress to the plants, which can turns females into hermies =(

Yeah, I've seen people here claim even something as small as a LED power indicator across a room disrupts it, thats bullshit, but light is definitely not wanted during the dark 12. Complete dark will bring out the best yield possible.

Theres not a hall light you could maybe use to put enough light in your room to see but not hit the plants.

The plant measures the un-interuppted darkness which makes it release a flowering hormone. As long as it isnt a regular thing you'll be fine. If it is regular, i'd keep a watch out for hermies and suchforth.

You'd do better to just use a green light bulb if you really want to illuminate your grow room at night. Green Light isn't usable to plants.

i had kno clue about that im gonna go buy some green light bulbs it would make my place look cooler anyway.
