Default droopy leaves
Hey guys I am a noob and just started off with a few cuttings. I use fox farms ocean forest, with R/O water, and a 400w hps. Some of my clones don't perk up when the light is on. They just stay droopy. Is that a sign of over watering? I havn't added any nutrients because the ocean forest has some to supply the girls for a little bit. Mind you I have had them for about 1 week and they do have new growth and bigger leaves since then.

here is the tsunami

here is the trainwreck(most concerned abou this one)

Over-watered maybe? How often do you water them?

so far just once every few days. I have one of those cheap ph, light, moisture sticks. and it says that my soil is moist but not wet until close to the bottom.

you need to let it dry out a bit before watering, you want those roots to go seeking out water, thus expanding.

Ocean forest can be a little hot for some strains. The leaves being droopy is a sign of overwatering, but the leaf damage, is from being burnt. I cut ocean forest in half. 50% ocean forest 25% promix 25% perlite. This gets me through a 5 week veg. Hope this helps. I toka toka toka

Make sure you are careful when you do water and keep it off the leaves. Last pic looks like a wet leaf got cooked.

Thanks for the reply's everyone I am definitely waiting up on the watering. If leaves get cooked with water on them how do people do foliage feeding? Or does that only happen when the temps are really cool so that the light can't magnify and burn the leaf?

It's not water on your leaves bro. If water did that to leaves, it would kill every plant in the world every time it rained.

if you have cuttings they should be covered in a mini greenhouse so they can develop a root system first every now and again walk over and spritz it. once the root system is established transplant.
