blood Meal/Bone Meal help

so i ve heard good things about blood and bone meal as fertilizers but one has high P and the other high N so shuld i just mix in the blood meal into my soil (high N) for my 18/6 veg state and then move the plant into a separate pot with my soil mixed with bone meal (high P) for my 12/12 flowering state? Is that right?

also does anyone kno how much of each is recommended per a certain amount of soil?
