Default Question from a newbie - Lighting
Hi all, I'm starting a closet set up and have bought a fluorescent lighting set up. I have 8 sockets and 8 26 (actual wattage) cfl's. I plan to grow three plants in a 2x4 area. Will this be enough to get me through the veg stage? I plan on buying a 250 watt hps in a couple of weeks, I just dont have the money right now. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks...peace

Yes that will be fine for the veg state. You should def pick up a 250 watt HPS for flower though, that is what I use. You can check out my journal if you wanna see what they can do. How big is your closet?

My grow area is just under 2 feet (21") by 6 ft, and 5 ft tall. I plan on growing three plants. Will the plants thrive in that amount of area, or should I only do 2? Yea im def. getting the hps, its being ordered tomorrow. Can I have a link to your journal? I really appreciate the help man, have a great day.

250 Watt MH Grow with *PICS*

My grow space is 4.5' tall, 2 feet deep, and 3 feet wide. Right now I am growing two plants. I think you could get away thee plants if you don't let them get too huge
