Relaxed - does Lime do the same thing? I have that for my latrine and I use it on my dog's pee spots to help battle the acidic areas on the lawn.

Very possible it is. I know on the back of my package it states as the finest domolite lime for ph balance...something like that....About 1 lb. of it at HD for maybe $5? it's been a while...I have seen that garden lime is different the Domolite lime. Google it....The recipe is tweaked from someone here and works perfectly.

Personally I think you should start fresh, with some new plants and lessons learned from this time around. Even if your plants make a recovery and starts creating some bud sites, the bud will be so stressed because of the veg life that it's highly likely not worth the wait, expense, and effort. I'm not sure how easy it is for you to get some clones in your area (it's easy in Cali), but you can order seeds off the internet... it works, trust me. Then you could start getting all of your supplies and tactics in order while the seeds arrive, so they'll be ready to go on a happy life... and your grow will have stepped up many notches in a short period of time (compared to waiting for your sick little ones). Then you could clone the good strains you get and have a regular supply of whatever you choose to grow.

Depends what you're trying to get out of your grow, but that's my opinion on your situation.

It's been a little over a month since I first posted on this. I really want to thanks everyone who contributed thus far. It's like you'd never believe that these were the original plants, but they sure are.
It's been a bit over three weeks since my last post and the plants almost tripled in size. I got the right kind of fertilizer (fox farm Veg) used it sparingly and then the magic happened. I also added styrofoam and white poster board to act as reflectors. In addition, I added those reflectors on the lights too. PH is usually around 6.4.

They're about 12" now and I'm wondering if I should begin to flower? I don't know the sex yet and I eager to find out. Let me know if I should hold off or change the light cycle?

I also plan on cloning 4 off each plant and marking them and use them for round two if one of my babies is a female.

I'd say you could flower at any time. Recommed flower anytime you have a healthy plant at 5 weeks from sprout or min 6 nodes going up. From that point every week adding to veg. your result number of bud sights increases. I would always top the plant for a couple top colas. The size will double or triple in flower so now u need to decide how big you can handle?

- Give it a week or better 2 from topping or fimming before flower starts.
- taking clones be sure to give her a week or more for new growth before throwing mom into flower.
- Try to decide how big a pot your going up to before flower if possible and repot before flower. Bigger the pot bigger the plant and bud growth. 3 gal. min., 5 great, 2 is ok in a pinch.
- They sometimes show preflowers to see sex in veg while some don't until several weeks into flower. Get a 30x mag. light on ebay for about 5 bucks. helps with sex and watching trichs most importantly for harvest time. Get the one with the led light. You can go with a 100x at radioshack and other places but 30x min......Your looking for little white hairs mean girl. Keep an eye out for hermies =boy/girl= because they do happen. Dont panic as it takes a couple weeks for the pollen to break for sure but multiple little ball/pollen sacks will be easily noticed as a boy vs. hairs. 30x mag. will show before your eyes.

looking good. Id top and clone marking each for plant. Wait another week to 10 days. Flower. Might look into Av. Nut. Bud Blood. You can give it the 1st. week into flower only and helps show flowers earlier, faster, bigger. Good stuff.

looking at your pics again. After you see 5 nodes some say 4 some say 6 top your plants. makes em bushy and multiple colas. If you veg. for long periods Id top em several times for bushy plants and many tops. research topping and fimming. Good for dealing with sativas that grow big in smaller spaces...and indica bushness

Be sure to keep a worddoc of notes for you to review for the next grow. Always helpful. Keep notes/copy/paste as you see good things about topping, cloning, flower, harvest, bugs, curing, storing....etc.

Flowering started about 6 weeks ago. I chopped 80% of one at week 5 because the leaves were spotted and looking like they were dieing. Its been hanging for a week and the stems are not quite breaking like a dry stick. They are getting dryer each day tho. I've puffed on a few popcorn buds and they leave a very sticky taste in my mouth. Effective, but not a too much for the flavor. The curing process begins in several days and that will be for several weeks. Can I just use tupperware for that vs a sealed glass jar?

It's normal for the fan leaves to start to die off during the later weeks in flowering.
The plant is putting all her energy and nutrients into bud production, and the fan leaves is where it is all stored.

I would say you could have grown those buds for at least another 3-4 weeks.
Anyway, not bad for your first time. I'm a first time grower too, my plants only like just under 2 weeks old.
