First Grow Help - 5/6 male? really??

Yeah. Those are males. That sucks dude.

The difference between male and female should be easy. Female plants will start growing a single white hair (pistils) and males will grow those seed pods.

Unlucky dude. I'd get some more seeds or start cloning the female.

Or do I just need to find a good spot to 'dispose' of these

well dude that is a tuff break but move your female and let those males grow then just make hash out of the males..not a complete loss......if you dont know how make a thread and i will come post in it........

Males are just that, males with seed pods all over it. A Hermie will have seed pods but it will also have female parts; pistols. Hermie=He/She. A hermie will Bud but it can and will pollinate itself and any surrounding female plants.

From what I can see though, all those plants look to be only male. Thats gotta hurt...

hermies will have both sex organs on the plant. You'll know when you get one.

Yeah, you should for sure ditch those males and cut some clones on your female or plant some seeds.

i had the same ratio my first bagseed grow. so i feel for you.
did you stress them at all?

i suspect the reason i got 5/6 males was that i inflicted a lot of light period disruptions throughout their early life.
i have nothing to back up that thought though.

That can hermie females, but it won't turn them into males completely.

Just unlucky dude. Don't worry, that just means you're do to score a high % female crop.
