Hey, I've got a bunch of white widows just transplanted into their final pots (5 gal) They are 1ft tall, I know I'm supposed to veg for another week or 2 after final transplant before switching to 12/12 but by then they could be 2ft tall, which would be fine if they only double in height in flower but I'm concerned they'll triple in size or more, if they did they'd be too tall for my tent. Is it a risk vegging them til 2ft hoping they'll finish no bigger than 4ft? Anyone WW growers know it's flowering traits? Thanks.

If you have enough light and its close enough they won't triple in size. But if your light is weak or too far away they might. I would wait at least another week and let them move into their new pots before switching up the light schedule on em. Good luck.

Thanks for the help, I'll be using 2x400w hps at a distance of around 12" so I should be good then.

I flower white widow a little smaller but a plant that is 1 ft in size when it has finished budding will be about 3/4 ft.get the lights has close to the tops has possible and then you should be fine.

2 X 400W @ 12 in. you should be GOLDEN! Happy growing!
