Hey all im kinda new around here, been reading alot but this is my first post, yea and its a newbish question lol ....i got some ph down for aquariums , my question is , is this stuff basicly the same as the hydroponics type of ph down liquid??? or do they add something else that is specially for aquariums or fish that might hurt plants??

Yes ph up and down for aquariums will work.

thnx man thats good news....also i was wondering if the ph up and ph down for swimming pools that they sell at walmart will that work also?? and i found some powder ph up and ph down in sandwich baggys that had come with an old hydroponic system i had laying around but it doesnt have any instructions like how much to use per x amount of gallons ...are all ph up and down powders at same strength?? and if so can ya tell me the amount to add?? thnx again

use very small drops (1/8 tsp) and see what it does with plain water to get an idea then work your way up
