Thank you for taking the time to look at the problem i am having. I have left over pure blend pro bloom from my last crop over a year ago. but when I add it alone to water it drops the Ph to like 5.0-5.2 isnt this quite a large drop? Could the nutes be bad? Do they expire? It is taking a ton of baking soda just to Ph one gallon of water. None of the other nutrients take this much. Hope someone out there can help! Thanks in advance

sorry no help but I use alaska fish fert and the bloom formula takes my ph from 7 to 2 at the full mix.

Most stuff does have a shelf life, so it says anyways, who knows if thats to sell you more sooner or something. I play it safe though, when it starts to get real old I replace, but 1 year wouldnt concern me. Im using Alaska on my outdoor bucket grow, the ph on the mor-bloom is good to know info.

It was probably sitting to long. Did you shake it up first and put it in? Not sure why it dropped it that low either.

Thanks for all the advice so far guys. I guess i will keep using it till tomorrow or the next day when I can get to the hydro shop. I heard somewhere though that too much baking soda Ph up will build up and fuck with your soil.
