My PH lvl is 8. how much vinegar do I use per gallon of water to lower it to about 6.5?

also, i read someone using both Peroxide and Vinegar in their water. Why would I do that and how much would I add then?

Thanks in advance!

peroxide would raise your pH. Just add small amounts of vinegar and test to see how much you need.

the kit is standardized. It also comes with a test kit as well as the ph up and down solution. This way you can test for the right ph, make adjustments and retest untill you have the right ph.

use my ph guide to learn how to ph correctly

I use 1 cap white vinegar to one gallon water and it helps. I still don't know af any long term effects. my water starts at 8.0 and ends up at about 6.8
