I know this will not be a hard task, and I feel dumb for asking, but how would I wire two light sockets together? They're just regular, old lamp sockets for CFLs with cords attached.

it doesn't matter; there are two wires, you can hook it up either way, and they will fire (light up).

Well all together there will be four wires. I'm going for two lamps fired by one plug.

no, that's what i'm saying, just splice the wires together. even if you have a one way plug the only thing that matters is that one is hot and the other is black. no ground wire necessary. i wish i still had pix of my wiring adventures....

but no, just hook them up, plug them in, it will work.

I may later. I've already started growing and I have a mother and two clones now (finally!). I've just been using solo lights and stuff, just want to clean the room's wires up a bit and I'm adding some lights.
