here's my Q:
i sexed my plants under 12/12, and a few that i left in the box a little longer and have now been out for approx 3-4 weeks and still seem to be in bud mode. there's been very little/noticeable veg. growth. i took all the bud sites off of a couple of em, thinking that would kick em into veg mode again, but haven't seen any results so far. will this eventually work? (taking off the buds, trying to initiate vegetative growth) any help appreciated.:peace:

it's from bagseed so i dont know what strain. prob aint an autoflower being from bagseed. bump, anyone? i just figured i'd pinch off all budsites and that would cause the plant to focus on growing bigger , rather than it focusing on finishing the buds. they're getting plenty enough sun to be in veg. (14+ hr), so am i right about doing this or not?
also, does it matter what strain as to whether or not this will work?

leave them there you don't want to stress them out anymore then they already are!! it takes 3 to 4 weeks to come out of it then BAM BAM BAM they will take off like a rocket!! doing it the way you are is the same way i do my outdoors get tem ready inside sex them out then take them out they make great big bushes!! i have a buddy that THINKS he knows all and sorry he dont and i dont myself always new things to learn he kept telling me tonight top em out top em out over and over kind of got on my nerves!! no dont do it let them get in there growing cycle first then its alright to top them out.

any plant weather it be a clone cut from a plant weeks into flowering or a plant put into flower to determine sex can be reverted meaning put back into veg cycle. you can use 24/0 or18/16either way will work. just expect a month or morebe4 it reverts. hope this helps

the best thing u can do is feed em sum (n) and give 24 hr light cycle. they hould reveg and grow quickly, watch out cuz i can get out of control easily.

PEACE

yea, i figured they WOULD revert, given enough light/sun, but wasn't expecting it to take so long once i put them out. thanks for the reply, eases my conscience knowing it's SUPPOSED to take up to a month for it to happen. +rep

well, i finally got a camera, and a computer working at the same time! so i thought i'd put some pics on. the one in the orange pot is the one that continued to produce bud time after time. and the final harvest off that plant was the kill! stickier than shit and tasted/smelled killer. i was proud. all in all i guess i harvested over 1/4 lb off that little plant over the course of the summer! the 3rd and 4th pics are of the same plant (one taken in may, then 1 yesterday) the one in the second pic is the one i planted on top of some apple/banana/canned salmon leftovers. i dug the hole approx 1.5 ft deep put that stuff on bottom filled the hole, cut the bottom out of that pot u see and stuck it on top. i'll put another more recent one of that 1 on this post too so the second and fifth pics will be of it.
so...., it's going to be a pretty good learning experience and not too shabby of a harvest. 1 lesson i learned that i would like to pass on to other newbs is that the deep woods sucks to grow in because there is not enough light unless u clear trees which is too obvious from above and on the ground. so SCOUT SCOUT SCOUT your location now!!! u need light, and at least 5 hrs of it to grow a decent sized plant. and the most f'd up thing that happened over the course of the grow/summer? i put alot of work into digging 3x3 holes for every plant, and carried soil to most DEEP into the woods, and the one that got the biggest? the one that did the best? was one that i just threw into some dog shit and kicked some dirt on! lol. oh well. any feed back is welcome.:peace:
EDIT:
i know its hard to see the one in the fifth, but thats how much the plant and everything else has grown since may. but u can make out enough to see its become a decent plant i think

thanks man, i think it "could be better, could be worse" ya know.but not bad for my first attempt, and now i know what i need to do different next season, what worked, what didnt etc. i've been keeping up w/ ur grow too, i may try the "cheap greenhouse" thing myself. seems to be working EXTREMELY well for you. i love the pic of the door going in (w/ the plants coming out lol) for someone who's kept up w/ your grow since may, that truly is an awesome sight to see!
BTW is ur time messed up on your posts? for instance idk what time u posted ur message on here, cause right now it's 10 am central time, i know ur in oregon and there's a timezone diff but it says u posted at 1:16pm, and i think as you go west you get further behind : like 9am here is 6 am in cali right? any way i'd like to get this worked out cause its getting on my nerves
EDIT: see now its saying that i posted this at 5:07 pm instead of 10 am??????????????wtf

You can flower a plant for the full term has long has the plant is left with a little growth on it and it will revert back to veg.I for one would not recomend it clones are the way to go but it can be done.
