i have read that my plants should have lower temps at night. what will happpen if my temp is the same or hotter?

Id like to know also.. I have my Lights Turn off during the day and on during the night.. and my temps seem to mabye go up a few degrees when lights are off..

Plants dont know OR care what time it is. For them, it is daytime when the lights are on and night time when it is dark. So, it will be hotter when the lights are on(day) and cooler or nearly the same when the lights are off(night). I leave the A/C and fans running 24/7 so that keeps the temp cooler during the dark cycle.

Well excuse the fuck out of me. My, dont we have delusions of grandeur. Lets make it simpler. As long as the temp, day or night is not too hot for the plants to grow properly, it doesnt really make too much difference. If you dont know what the proper range of temperatures are for growing, read some threads instead of asking stupid questions. And stop acting like the prickless bastard in your avitar.

Sorry about my earlier post. I try not to be a total asshole but sometimes it slips out. I wish I could turn off the AC and stuff when the lights go out, but it just gets too damn hot here in the summer. I am hoping that the little window unit I have will handle the job this summer. I just added a 1000 watt HPS to the flower room. Good luck on your grow, and once again I am sorry for being such a jerk.

ii was the one being a jerk, but i was just fucking around. i read in ed rosenthals book that the temps should be about ten degrees cooler during lights off. thats why i was wondering

for me its impossible.i always have high night temperatures sometimes higher than durin the day.i think its cos i close the window for darkness.
