It helps to water them before transplanting damp soil sticks better and doesn't fall off as bad. But as long as though your gentle with the plants and root system they should be just fine.

Not trying to be a dick or anything but.... transplanting with wet soil is absolutely the worst way to transplant.. when the soil is wet- thats when it falls apart- when dry, the roots hold the soil together-

Think about it- when its wet the soil is VERY heavy, especially to those nimble roots, when a piece of wet soil falls off, its gonna just rip the whole shit off.. Ive done them both ways.... ruined the root system when it was wet

The time I was successful was when the soil was dry- I actually grabbed the base stem at the bottom and held the bucket down- lifted up and EVERYTHING was in tact- I didnt even lose 1 piece of soil- the roots were holding everything together- because it was dry.

after putting it in somesthing bigger and filling in space with new soil- water it with a couple of drops of superthrive per gallon- then you will be gold- PM me if you have a question...

No offense to the previous poster but please do not follw that post or you will most likely be standing with an upside down plant in your hands looking at the ground where all your soil and roots are laying-

Trust me- GraF
