Starting indoors and moving outdoors

hey this is my first post on here so id like to say hi to everyone.

I have a question, i searched about it and couldnt find what i was looking for.

Heres my situation. I started growing 3 plants indoors around the end of april. I live in the midwest in upper michigan so the weather here is still cold it actually snowed just yesterday. So I started growing indoors with plans to transfer the plants outdoors when i was certain the frost would be gone. I have 3 5 or 6+ gallon pots i will be transferring to when i move the plants outdoors. My question is the plants were on 24/7 light from 3 48" p&a fluors. then i moved them to 18/6 in the second week. They are nearing 8" tall now and i plan to move them outside around june 1st. When I move the plants outdoors will they immediately begin flowering due to the light change? Is there any way to get them to Veg longer when they are outdoors, because I want them to grow a while before they start to flower, seeing as I have very large pots. Im new to this so be easy on me thanks guys

you can move them outside without any problem.
They will not flower in june. let me say that again. They will not flower in june.
The summer just started so it will be a while before they flower.

Ive had flowering in June. Maybe it was because I started from seed in Feb indoors also.

What you do is slowly line your light cycle with the outdoors light cycle so the transitional light change is not much

If it is the start of the warm weather,then i would hold back till the weather becomes more stable.If you are wanting to flower when the days are long then just cover with a box................................tyke
