Default Heres a question that isnt answered in any growing guide or noobi thread
When it comes to PHing we all know what to aim for, for soil its 6.5 & for hydro its 5.6 of course some people like to go a little up or a little down due to growers preference BUT what about PPM/MS how is it that you experienced growers figure out at what rate to adjust your nutrient solution to? For example Im growing Blueberry & Ive been told that this strain is a light feeder, all that tells me is it takes in lower amount of nutrients than most other strains. How exactly can I find out for myself what PPM/MS rate to adjust the nutrient solution to at certain times during the entire grow cycle regardless of what strain we noobis are growing?

This is one question which I cant find answered on any forum or book.

This question is open to every experienced grower but please state if your talking about soil, hydro or both.

Unless you can find someone who grew the same breeder’s Blueberry as you have and who tested and kept records all through their grow or unless the breeder will supply you with the information you will be left to trial and error. You may have to try something and test and see how your plants respond and then adjust and test and when you figure it out then you have the information for thr future.

Just saying Blueberry is not likely going to get you accurate information unless whoever tells you got their Blueberry from the same breeder as you purchased from. Since most breeders Blueberry, as are most strains, is their version of the original Blueberry they will be genetically different from each other and what works for one breeder’s Blueberry could be rather wrong for another breeder’s Blueberry.

But how would any grower know when to stop increasing the PPM at the peak of flowering?
