Auto flower seeds, ive jus been reading it takes like 9 weeks from seed to harvest,, why so quick surely theres a con to this? any 1 harvested auto flower seeds b4???

No scam, I'm doing snowryders.... it is about 8-10 weeks..the males show 1st at about 17 days and the females at 20... mine were right on that day.. all but one..the next day.. they're at about 15" and will give 28-40 g's each....
Autos can't be cloned as they flower on there own time, and won't stay in veg... and you can use any light cycle...18/6..17/7...20/4...etc..theres no effect on flower.. just maintain dark sealed as with reg. strains...

hey b00linib yes harvested lowryder #2 at bout 65 days from seed , you cant clone it and you can get a male seeds if you by regular but other than that autoflowering strains are well good

The con or drawback is that you cannot veg them longer to increase yield. They will flower according to a genetic time schedule and not according to light cycles as other plants do so they decide when to flower instead of you deciding when to flower them or if growing outdoors Mother Nature deciding when plants will flower.

So you get less yeild but it comes alot quicker hmmm i wish i got some autoflower seeds now they sound rele good. cheers guys

Quicker or not will depend on the length of each strains flowering period and if not an auto-flowering strain how it is grown.

If you have an auto-flowering strain that needs 8 to 10 weeks to flower it will not flower any faster than another strain that also needs 8 to 10 weeks to flower.

If someone wants quick they can start a regular strain at 12/12 or only veg a very short period of time and cut the overall time of growing down to even less than that of an auto-flowering strain.

Auto-flowering does not always equate to the fastest final results.

Just a note on your phrase "less yield".. High Times had a pic of a 2 oz. top cola from an AK47 x Lowryder #2. 2 oz. isn't too bad in my book. Most of the CFL autoflowering folks on here are somewhere between 15-30 grams per plant, it seems.
