4 ON LEFT 1 WEEK OLD = CALIFORNIAN SKUNK

4 ON RIGHT 7 WEEKS OLD = AFGHAN

I USE 5.8 pH I WATER 3 TIMES A DAY X 10 MINS

I HAVE USED THE BIG BUD AT FIRST ( BY MISTAKE )

ON THE AFGHAN THEN CHANGED TO IONIC GROW ( SEE PIC )

I USED THE IONIC GROW ( SEE PIC ) ON THE CALIFORNIAN SKUNK FROM DAY ONE

I USED ON BOTH TYPES HYDROPONIC SYSYTEM WITH ROCKWOOL CUBES AND THE

( GROWING ENVIROLITE ) 18 HRS PER DAY ( SEE PIC )

ALSO I USED HALF STRENGTH IONIC GROW AT FIRST THEN UP TO FULL STRENGTH

what is the best way to germinate seeds?

I HAVE BOUGHT BIG BUD SEEDS ARE THEY BETTER THAN AFGHAN OR AMERICAN SKUNK?

BUT ALL I EVER SEEM TO GET IS A FAST GROWING SPURT AT FIRST THEN NOTHING

Hey man, by the looks of things that 'fast growth spurt' isn't a good thing. It looks like they've just been stretching for the light. You should try to move the light closer so they don't stretch.

You need to use a lot more light and a lot less nutes.

I would let the cubes dry out some. I would also check pH runoff of the water from the cube. After 7 weeks yer plants should be a foot talll with 8-10 nodes or more. Something isn't right.

OMG they look shat ! You obviously are having trouble with hydroponics.
Look, see all that crap on your shelf , well bin that poo.
Go get some quality compost (pref. with added John Innes and peat to retain moisture) this will feed your plant for 3 weeks so no need to nute !
Slap a seed 1cm deep , water once damping but not soaking the soil. Place pot ON TOP of grow light (clear plastic bag between the pot and grow light to stop 2 much heat). Leave the little Rasta on 4 a few days (mine took 1 day to show above soil), and b4 you know it , the bad boy will be on top of the compo.
Dont care what anyone says i believe this is the best way to germinate and grow, my new seeds have been going for 4 days now under a 250w Osram Son-T-Plus (using the described method) , and honestly they take the piss out of yours !!
As far as seeds go , i bought them from the 'Nirvana' Range, they were £15 for 10 'White Rhino'. I also bought Feminised 'White Rhino' (5 for £36) , they both germinated at the same rate.
Feminised seeds are obviously better for the fact the will be 'split arses', but if Da Budget is tight then go with the cheaper seeds (50 / 50) chance of male / female ratio.
I dont personally use hydroponics and wouldnt unless i wanted a SOG (Sea Of Green) ,it just doesnt deem neccesary when results can be achieved with a bit compo and a £80 Light !!
