most e-bay sellers will sell via cheque or bank transfer, and pay pal doesn't need a Credit card.

you can also go to your bank and get a DEBIT card, this is just an ATM card that has no credit but it will be accepted LIKE a credit card.

so basically its like a pre-paid credit card. (oxymoron I know)
