Day 27 - 23/04/2009 i have watered all 3 today with 50% veg nutrition.


I really can do with some help now though :O)
Lets hope someone will chime in soon and help me out here

The pics show all 3 as of today .
My questions at this time ..

Should I repott again or stick with the 7 ltr buckets ..The roots are well developed so i could repot but does it make sense...
Also this brings me to another question . How the hell am i ment to get 5 or 8 plants in this cupboard ...I sure iam too worried ..but it looks tight with already 3 getting bigger in there ...the size is listed in my earlier posts...but its something like 190cm high (usable Grow hight is around 145 cm) 65 cm deep and 100cm . wide ..??
..i guess i worry too much and they can be bunched up quiet a bit as i see in many pics ...

Now next ? ..How long should I wait untill start flowering .

And please any comment on the plants look would be greatly appreciated ..
Why for example has plant 2 only so little growth whilst no1 is soo bushy ..The seeds are all identical from a breeder ..ergo decent quality seeds .
Number 2 is OK although here I might understand why its not so bushy.
It had some malformed leaves So i guess too much stress at one stage ..

..pfeee hard work this growing business :O) Its almost full time job heh?

Hey man, nice little grow.
not geting much help r u ..... anyways about ur pots, i think 7 lts will be just fine, don't repot to many times.
also i think now is the right time for 12/12. The girls (hopefully) will pobably end up about 3 time the size now! and alot bushier...
What soil and nutes are u using? and are temps under control with door closed and hps runnin?
what are the dimention of ur closet?

the leaves should be errect as a penis right before the act.

are you checking your ph? it looks like they are boiling too. where are you checking for temperature? you should check right next to the tops of the plants.
where did you installed the outake fan and the passive intake?

anyhow, 7l buckets should be enough - when you move them to flowering stage they will stop developing roots in a week or two.
if the buckets are all filled up and the roots are binding the soil repot them to a 9l bucket and FLOWER.
in your size of cabinet I'd flower em when they reach the height of 30-40cm or when they fill up the room horizonticaly.

what are you feeding em with? you should start giving low emounts of Phosorous rich fert to help trigering flowering.

ok ok ph I have checked in the beginning ..need to buy new ph strips ...will report back on that

Temps ..Thats was a problem and i guess they did suffer it
I had a few days over 32C and this was way too much but the temps are not under controll

Inkake passive you can see in the early pics of the cupboard ..1st page i think ..its down at the bottom under the 1st row of pc fans .

i have a 105m2/h fan sucking air out through the top ..
I think this is not enough with all my pc fans blowing in as I have not achived negative preassure . When i opent eh door slightly it blows air not sux.. My fan is inside a 10cm flexible tube This tube end I have hung under the light cap so this is the place it suxs the air to the top out through the fan .(have a look at soem older pics a page back )
Maybe i need another vent sucking air out the top then usethis to make a cooltube ...mmmhh i did
modified a glassvase this week (took the bottom off and now I can build a cooltube ..
Problem is I have to wait to get soem worktime on the cupborad ..I think i set the 3 in the sun on terrace one afternoon this weekend and install the cooltube

Sound good ...So i repot now and start flowering becaus ethe roots are well developed and the height ..top of soil to top of plant is 30 cm for each ...So i better start flowering or i run out of headspace . and i have to use 10 Ltr buckets i dont have 9 :O)

I just feed them twice now the last to waterings ..50% of recomended dose ..its just POKON 8 3 5 so i guess i better urn out and get soem Phosphore stuff for flowering ..?and ph strips :O)

Looking good dude. I do agree with Claptoman tho, the leaves should definately be erect and not so droopy. On the bright side the leaves look pretty healthy color wise..But maybe you should buy a PH Meter? Better then having to buy strips all the time.

couldn't find exactly your ventilating setup. I've seen computer fans but can you please take pictures?
idealy you would have the passive intake at the botton, the internal air movement fans (your pc fans I guess) blowing air upward and shaking the plants a bit and the outtake right next to the bulb like i've seen you do.
if you pull air out there will be a negative presure.
by correctly ventilizing the grow room you can lower the temps quite well.

cool tube is awesome. I've purchased one from my hydro shop and its a great thing.
however mine cost a fortune so I got a hang on 2x 6" glass pipes in the right length for next time I'll need one of these ;D
in your size of grow room it will make a huge difference as you can place your light with a good cool tube (even a 5" one) about 25cm away from the plants without burning them resulting in way more light usable to the plant.

at that size my plants took about 150% the recommanded nutrients. the magic is to introduce it over time. (now they take about 200% the emount, and only because I cant efford more ferts. I could easly gave em 3 times the recommanded emount by now)
BUT I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH YOUR FERTILIZER SO I DON'T KNOW HOW THE PLANTS WILL REACT.
just know that you could probably try increasing the dosage by 10% each watering. and stop when the tips of the leaves starting to burn. if they do burn a bit its really nothing to be afraid of.


PH should be around 6.7 and unless you know your water supply and nutrients well enough to know what will be the outcome PH. I don't.

As for a ph meter, I use a cheap one off of ebay.
altho i had to find out the hard way that it isn't really waterproof it works splendid.
and they fixed it for free once. altho i had to pay one way of the shipping and didn't had a meter for 2 weeks.

First thnks guys for the help and tips ..
I have only a low Natrium fertilizer used at the moment
i ll get some today. SO then I ll start flowering tomorrow ??
What about the size pot ..Just leave em in 7ltr ?????

I used bio Soil so I didnt give any food to plants as it has enough in the soil for 1st 20 days plus your repotting all the time adding new soil ..
I watered today with added food only for the 2nd time


Now when flowering I need to get a high P fert I know ..

add another exhaust fan like the one I have ..Piece of Alloy flex tubing attached to the Cooltube (the one I need to build lOl ) so it sucks air past thelight out through the top (see vid) and the other just straight out to the top (backside of cupboard)..without any tubing attached ??? Thoughts ???

The vid shows my venting config but also please have a look ...is there too much movemnt (wind on the plants ??? in the first 15 sec ,,,,I know the flickering is mad I guess its the lgiht but do the move too much ?

Thats not the problem
I have not got enough negative preassure!
when i open door a slight bit i can feel a draft coming OUT of cupboard i need more aktive outtake i guess ?
