i am planning on getting some 40w 2700k lights, but for now i have my girls under 6 5000k bulbs.
just wondering what buds would be like if i just kept these bulbs and didnt get the 2700ks

probably not as dense....use both when you flower...the more light the better

i waiting for my ride as we speak. its 9 am lol. but im gonna pick up 3 40w 2700k bubls, i already have one so thats about 160w ill have of 2700k, then i have about 100 watts of 5000k. so i have about 260watts for two plants. sounds pretty good to me. what you think?

I would say your buds would be denser but not as large, you can flower very nice plants with MH, some people use them the last 2 weeks of flowering you increase density. But yeah both spectrum's would be ideal.

well i picked up 3 40w cfls 2700k today. some splitters and a timer and also a power chord.

so right now ive got 5x 26w 5000k plus 4x 40w 2700k.

so thats 8750 lumens at 5000k
and 2600x4 = 10400 lumens at 2700k.

total wattage = 290.

oh i think my babies will love it . this is for two plants.

5000 k isn't absorbed much by plants, have a look at this chart:

dude that sucks maybe thats why my plants were only a little over a foot after 2 months. (but i did start from seed)
