Hello All,
I've read around the forum and have come up with the following: 1) Use a good grade potting soil - Fox Farm Ocean Forest seems to come HIGH-LY recommended - 2) pH of the soil should be about 6.8 3) Water when soil a few inches down is dry 4) Florescent lighting is OK for beginning stages Although there's some variation on the info, can I rely on these basic steps? Before reading all this, I had started growing and now have a young plant, 6 inches tall, presently in a small clay pot. For lighting I'm using 2 Gro-Lites, each 60 Watts. From what I'm reading on here, I think I'm at a point where I easily lose this plant if I don't start applying some of the info I mention above. What are the first things I must do? Thanks! |
