I think it's 'individual' based rather than strain dependant, at least thats the case in my experience. The last strain I grew out didn't give me the munchies at all, I let a few friends sample it and they got it big time. Shrug.

i get munchies no matter what i smoke i eat 6lbs of food a day cause i smoke all day and i still weigh 170

Heh, I used to get the munchies.. Seems I don't get them anymore, been smoking so long I actually have a problem eatting. I just wake n bake and get cottonmouth, chronic dry mouth makes it hard to eat foods because of the enzymes in your spit and such. Imagine trying to anything from potato chips to a sandwich with a mouth that has NO spit in it. Fucking sucks. I usually have to get liquor to get the mouthwatering feeling from hunger anymore aswell.

Does anyone know if cooking with cannabis causes munchie effect? Do you still get cottonmouth from eating it too?

Since munchies are a side effect of the THC and cannabinoids present in ALL marijuana there really isn't a way tog et rid of them...unless you wanna smoke weed with no THC

What about an alchohol that doesnt give you hangovers? does anybody know of this? lol jk
