Growing in a small space and only a couple of plants

You are going to have severe heat problems. There is no cheap/easy fix.

To vent the small space properly you will need to do some carpentry. Use the same flex type hose and run that from your exhause fan outside.

yea i just hooked up my 400w mh just to see how hot my room was gonna be and the light is real hot. im using a stare bathroom. Theres already an exhaust fan in there so im gonna get another fan to blow air into the room. Plus im gonna put some fans in that bitch too. and on top of that i set my timer to turn the lights off during the day, from 11am-5pm, during the hottest part of the day. but its gonna start to get real cold here so hopefully that will help too.

Hottest acceptable temp should be around 90 - 95, 400w HID bulb it´s not an overkill u just need to vent it proper, i would go for the HPS its not as hot as the MH and puts out a few more lummens...u can use pc fans to extract the air or even kitchen type extractor fans (for a cheap solution), if u have the $$$ and have enough space u can go with a squirrel cage fan...also a oscilating fan inside the growroom will help to keeo the air circulating and stimulate plants

I am trying to build a space that is about 3' hight and bout 2 feet wide. I wanna grow 1 plant just to play around. what wattage bulb should I use without having to worry about heat problems. I already have clones ready to flower (gift from friend). Unfortunately, I'm have to be as cheap as possible, although I do understand that I get what I pay for.
