I had about a 4 foot plant growing indoors under 600 Watts of flourescent lighting. It was growing beautifully untill I switched it to 12-12 light cycle. It started yellowing and within a few days went from looking like the pic I added, do being all drooped and withered....my baby is dieing!! and its female!!!
What do I do?! I transplanted it into a larger container, and mixed some dry course sand in with the dirt hoping that would help it, but sence then (last night) it has only drooped more. What do I do?! Can I save my plant? or is it to late and dead? How do I save it? And when I say drooped, I dont mean slightly, I mean, it went from the pic, to looking like I just wrapped my hands around the top of the stem and ran my hands down the entire plant and crushed all the stems down to the side of the main stem. I would send a pic of it now, but I dont have a camera. |

I forgot to add, I dont believe that it was the light cycle that caused it, I believe it was over watering. Because when I transplanted it the dirt it was in was like mud, and it had about 6 inch's of standing water in the bottom of the container.

it was probably from nutrients, I would water just with water not tap water. If you werent giving nutrients and it looks like that, check the roots, maybe a gopher or something chowed all the roots, transplant it into a big container, soak it with water and pray. if it doesnt dry all leaves and make some hash.

Dry her out a bit like ya did, and keep praying. Thats the only thing I can think of, seems like that would be the obvious cause, 6 inches of standing water. What size was the pot it was in? What size is the new one? Think it's rootbound? Just some questions to stimulate your and other more experianced growers minds! Good luck, keep us posted.

Yes. Sounds like probably too much water. If the soil was muddy, add some soil amendment to increase drainage. Over water kills more plants than under watering. We tend to love them too much for their own good sometimes. Just replant and chill. W
Get a hydrometer from Wal Mart for 6 bucks. peace.

if ur plants were already droopy from overwatering then repotting it then watering it again will have had an impact. Only thing u can do is let it dry out and pray (if u stand on one leg and put a paper bag over you head, it will work lol)
Ive had this prob recently with over watering, and thats what my plants did, drooped and wilted. |
