i havent used fert for veg and my plants look fantastic (1month) what will happen if i don't use them for flowering?

let me recommend foxfarm. Thats what I use. If you do go with that you will need 3 things. Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Grow Big. These 3 things will get you through the vegging and flowering stages. Also don't ever think more is better with ferts. Just follow the labels or ask us. Happy Toking bro.

you may find your soil has added nutes which is why they have been looking ok these will eventually be all used up and u will need to fert

you just get less love!

This is wrong.

Yield is not directly connected to the amount of nutrients you use to fertilise your plants.

The best yielding plants will be those allowed to grow 'naturally' and without all the 'force-feeding' of huge amounts of nutrients that simply serve to over-fertilise your plants and reduce yield as a result.

Very few people (and no, beginners) actually know what the correct level of nutrient feeding for their plants is or how to work it out and because of this instinctively over-feed their plants - one of the worst things you can do.

The 'object' or 'ideal' is to actually grow your plants with as little added nutrients as possible, simply allowing the plant to take whatever nutrients it needs when it needs them.

Your answer goes against all the principles and philosophies of soil growing and particularly organic growing.

I'm with babygro. When using nutes, it is better to use too little than too much. When you start using fertilizer, start at a quarter or half strenght and work your way up. You may decide to stay at half strenght. Remember with nutes, its better to under do it than over do it. Good luck.

Sorry for leaving such bad advice. Don't put any ferts on your plant ok. Let them use up the ferts in the pot and you should be left with pounds.

You don't need fertilizers growing outdoors. I know everyone says you do but all the decomposing leaves and old foliage is what feeds your plants. When you grow indoor you dont have that, therefore you have to use ferts. I have 5 plants that i started from seed i haven't added anything to them, and they are going pretty good except for some nitrogen deficiencies on 2 which can be dealt with. All of them are now in flowering growing beautiful buds, and i have done nothing to them not even watered once.
