no offence meant by title! (we call everyone from the general areas of the north or south american continents yanks over here...)

im a stranger round these here parts and am still just getting a feel for the forum.

is this a mainly american forum???

im just wondering if there's any europeans on board here.

or better still irish!

well, i wouldnt have a grow closet, id have a grow estate....

its funny, i remember a time before tom cruise and the likes made films in ireland about how poor and impoverished we all were 200 years ago and people didnt really have a whole pile of pride in having an irish heritage..

its cool though.

in ireland at the moment things are getting very multi cultural. for about the last 15 years now irish people have to get used of the fact that people from other countries actually want to migrate here to work and live... i think after the initial "why the fuck would they want to come to this wet misty fucking country?" and the absolute shock of seeing people walking around the place that come from places u only see on the news for some bad reason... well, after all that i think most irish people realise that our economy need the work force... nearly all the migrants that come here do so legally and pay taxes.

the polish comunity is huge in ireland at the moment, there are also very large comunites from all african nations, nigeria etc, eastern block countries, former yugoslavia, former russian states, china, the philipines (nearly all nurses or carers for some reason...)

come'ere, are flights from the states to amsterdam very expensive these days??

of course, the wookie contingent in the labour *force*
makes ireland a real engineering hub at the moment...

i think the wookie migration had something to to with a skirmish in kashyyyk long long ago far far away...

mad for the guiness those wookies,, very very messy when drunk.... make the irish drunks look very tame in comparison.....
