Does anyone know if you can lose your place & car for growing only a few plants?

I read a site that talks about each states laws if caught with a certain amount, but it does not talk about your possessions. I have seen on tv where the police take people's cars if they are caught with drugs while driving.

If only growing a couple of plants for personal use, are the odds close to 0% of the authorities catching you as long as you keep quiet? Is it difficult for the authorities to get a judge to allow them to search a place even if they think they have an idea that someone might be growing but has no positive evidence? Will the authorities come to your place and ask to search it without a warrant and if you say no, won't they find this strange?

Do the authorities even care about the small fish or do the local police want everyone even if they only have dried resin in a pipe from 2 years ago?

Sometimes they just assume the money is from drugs. My brother got caught with a grow and they took his bond money and deemed it drug money.

In Canada, they wouldn't be spending the time and money to search for the personal growers. They are going after the large grow ops in houses and such. If you are growing a few plants in your house or garden, there shouldn't be a problem. It is not illegal to carry small amounts of marijuana on you here, it is not worth the paperwork. I know many cops that grow and smoke pot. It really is not a big deal here until you break laws like stealin hydo and making fire hazards out of houses, selling hard drugs on the streets and such. Just be safe about it all.

If you're growing in your house, then yes, they can take it.

Unless you're growing in your car, too, then no they can't take your car.
