is a 5 litre pot too small for entire plant's life or will they be too root bound?

you want atleast 1 gallon for every ft of growth... put it in a 5 gal bucket.. call it a day!

i got three plants under one 400w hps lamp, so i dont really have enough room for three 5 gallon contains. 5L wont stunt the growth that bad will it?

I have kept plants root bound for long periods of time. It most likely will slow growth but if you keep your soil full of nutes it probably wont be to noticable. How big do you plan on growing?

agreed ... I started flowering on 6-6-07 when my plants were a foot tall... and now they are about 2 foot tall... They really start to take off once you switch em... I only vegged for 1 month
