The whole point in flushing is to remove the remaining nutes from the soil and to force the plant to use up what it's stored internally. This would give you a "cleaner" taste, with no chemical after-taste. Some growers flush periodically throughout their grow and some never flush at all. I would flush a week before harvest and then only give them plain water the rest of the way. Good luck.

well most indica heavy strains need about 8 weeks to "get to the point" but i would rather go with the trichomes color the with a time schedule since you seem to be checking 'em
flushing is suppost to reduce the amount of chemical compounds in the plants, but i would rather call this a myst then a fact the harsh taste of weed normally comes from poorly dryed and then even poorer if at all cured buds, very typical with bought weed which is usally just forced dried in a oven

dry it slow and steady and cure it well and save you the trouble of flushing them to death if you want some super smooth smoke look into water curing, a form of water fermentation also used with high end tobacco to avoid blending it with chemicals to smoothen the smoke of it.

if you water-cure it would be 10 to maybe 15% less weight but this is just from salts and fertilizer residues and chlorophyll you washed out. if you want to sell this, which we not promote here to do, you will have to adjusted, but then it is really premium anyway

on the other hand that is what you can loss if you flush the last 2 weeks of flower as well, but then in actual grow
