im just wondering about soft white lights, theres a lightbulb website that shows the color emited from the different bulbs and its a little meter and it shows where the light falls on the light spectrum meter, left side is blue light, the middle is white, and the right is orange/red...so warm lights fall in orange spectrum but im wondering about soft white, they fall in the middle in the white area, does this mean they emit both red and blue spectrums?

get yourself a HPS 400w and use the soft whites for seedlings

How effective can flowering be using just red spectrum CFL's? cause HPS lights get very hot and i dont think i'd get enough cool air circulation to maintain having one in the place im growing. Its basically a large cooler.
