my plant seems not very smelly at the moment 5 days into the flowering cycle ,is this normal,the seed came from some real smelly smoke

I am growing White Widow quite a stinky strain & mine didn't start getting 'smelly' until at least 4 weeks into flowering.. as long as you have some sought of good anti-odour product like ONA gel, a Ionizer or a Carbon Scrubber you will be ok + good ventilation etc.

Also depends on the number of plants & location - I have two & they are now 6 weeks
into flowering but the smell is contained in a grow-tent & I have a domestic ionizer which is nuetralizing the smell in my grow room (not my grow-tent)doing the job nicely..

good job with not putting the ionizer in the tent as it taints the smell an taste....

be glad mines 4 weeks veg - 1/2 week 12/12 and the skunk is starting to get smelly

well this is my little pride n joy sure hope mine is a white widow fem.be cool if someone could identify it , the fan leaves r big if it helps,and thankyou for your replys

i can smell my big buds after not even 4 weeks into veg, but this is normal with the strain. some strains just tend to smell less then others and that the buds or the smoke of a stain had a killer-aroma to it won't tell if the plant is as worth in grow too
how do you flowe, what kind of light/s do you use for the job? this can have a imput on the plants aroma as well
