Chances of the "popo" tracking you are slim. Want to see why? "http://ipaddress.com/" This will give you your local ISP from your ip address which they can track VERY EASILY and rather quickly. The problem is that in order to "log" these ip's they need the be a mod of the forum.

True, you can (if using a wireless network) easily intercept any encrypted or non encrypted data and prove (even without pics buddy). All the police need is probably cause to issue a search warrent on you.

Ok so lets count the odds that he police somehow have a suspicion that you're growing marijuana. They need to log you ip, trace to your isp, obtain billing information to you and get a warrant just to "maybe" catch you. Btw its not a cheap process for them to go through for nothing. What makes this site safe is that in some countries it is entirely LEGAL to grow marijuana so the chances of them randomly screening people with ip's they obtained (how ever, with mod access).

You wont get cought doing this unless you go telling people "Hey I live in a country were it's illegal and hers my ip so you can trace me"..

Actually even if you post pics they cant prove unless your an idiot and show YOU and the PICS.. Maybe the pic was taken were its legal to grow.. they have no proof.. and no warrants can be gotten if they think your growing.. kinda like if you get pulled over speedign and the cop wants to see in your car.. lock the doors and get out liek he asks but refuse to let him search your car without a warrant.... part of the law actually. just dont be an ass about it when they ask... lol to obtai nthe warrent they will need a probable cause..

and under investigation my ass.. they will look at your power bill and see the times the power goes up and down to see a pattern to get the warrant.. and when they search your house your screwed.. but again.. some places are legal aso pics prove not a god damn thing. unless you say "hey I took these pics HERE were its illegal..".. lol

i have a shop attaced to my house power and my bill averages 1100 i pay it no questions asked they do come out twice a year to do a power reading but outside away from my house ass long as you pay your bill the power company doesnt care its when you dont pay is when they look in to you.

Here's the deal. Put all these incidents in a list:
Cop w/technical knowhow
Superiors who will give go ahead
judge who will grant warrant for (hopefully) faceless pic
All the previous going on where cops have jurisdiction over you
Enough of the previous to be big enough dickfucks to ignore MUCH more easily observed, proven, AND prevented/solved crimes to bust someone for 5-10 plants. (whadda you gonna get 2-3 pounds max?) -or-
Enough of the previous to be not LAZY. (youve seen the tummies on those guys)
And finally, make all of the previous a COincident = aint gonna happen

And oh yeah if you live in the country = mega "aint gonna happen"

Well i am willing to bet pictures have helped you, and anybody else, on their grows.

Besides if risk is to be avoided at all costs, you might want to look at car fatality/injury rates next time you go to McDonalds.

My view is "nothing risked, nothing gained"... it feels good to help others and receive compliments! besides if we all hide it will be illegal forever... fuck that

You people fail to realise even WITH pictures.. unless you ca nprove without a doubt the picture (in question) is in illegal territory to grow. Becasue I could fly my lazy ass out to lets say ampsterdam and grow frigen plant.. take al lthe pics I want and come back to the US of A and the picture doesnt all of a sudden become illegal in any way, shape or form.. now does it? Now if they can without a doubt prove the pic was fro myour house now thats another story but why take a pic liek that (walls, floors, etc..) juet a pic of the plant with a dirt background is good enough.. who cars if your face is in it? It's no proof to them at all. period.

Fact is the internet is screwing w/ the government in this forum just like it is across the net... TOO MUCH INFO

You gotta remember they have to pay/find/train people. and those people have to sift through huge amounts of potentially misleading data. Case in point, look at the quality of workmanship in airport security... yeah they got more people but most of them are not highly motivated/highly trained/both.
Read a report a while ago, where dept. homeland security snuck 7 out of 7 items onboard that should have been caught.

Thats also why governments who legislate (make laws ) too much WILL fail (with the humans of today... i read sci-fi). You can make a million laws, but you cant enforce them without stepping on WAY too many toes = revolt. And if you make laws and DONT enforce em people will eventually vote in a different government. And it all stems from our limited capacity to
ANALYZE all this information.
