Default My experiences with Topping vs. LST interesting results

I had 8 plants growin nice and healty and i decied to top 4 of them and LST the rest. Here are the results:

Topped
1 male
3 hermies

LST
All Female!!!


I think this is pretty clear that Topping a plant can cause unnecessary stress when LST has the same benefits.

I call that bad luck.
I always top never had luck like that.
I grew about 10-12 new seeds this year topped half and only got one male.

I just LST'd 9 total. 5 turned out male and 1 was a hermie.

that has nothing to do with the sex or i would have grown males exclusively for years LST and topping is great to control the grow if plants but not a method to switch or determine the sex of a plant

There is a lot of males and hermies coming from seed banks these days.
I think it is from over breeding or bad parents.
I was thinking about trying JOEYS but I guess they are just like the rest.

the exept for a few hermies the plants all grew big and healthy and are pretty easy 2 grow - they ship to the US, fast and are very reliable. i wud definately reccoment Joey's
