Default cfl growing CHEAP

wats up all the weed heads in this mother, so i wanna grow some dank, but this shit is to expensive and i gotta have that chronic everyday so i cant buy HIDS and shit. But now i know i can grow with CFLs.. I want to grow four plants in 3.5 by 3.5 area.like 10 sq ft. How much light do i need. i want to get 8 65watts cfls. is thst enough. planning on short plants. I also got a waterfarm hydro system ready to go....

no...you will need the equivelent of a 400w hps to light that are...600w would be optimal...i think thats something like 20 65w cfls.....and if you can afford to get 8 65w cfls and the shit need to mount and hang them..with a little extra you can find a cheap 400w hps on ebay or htgsupply...

oh man yea 8 would be plenty. put like 4-6 plants in there. that'd be a nice little cfl grow. make sure u get a fan too.

I like 1 big CFL on canopy, like a 105 or 200, then a whole slew, like 8-10 65 watters all around your plants....

fuk my shit is gonna be bright, but thats what we want, im planning on using mylar for reflection. i hope cfl
work i think with reflection 8 it can work. Anyone done something like this before

yes...my first indoor grow was with cfls..after that i went with hid....cfl just doesnt have the intensity to grow decent bud....dont get me wrong...i use them as supplemental lighting but if you want nice tight dense nugs go with hid...if you want airy loose leafy buds then cfl will give you that...

they will grow good weed but not decent yeild or nice nugs....unless you wanted to use all 8 of those 65watters for 1 plant..but that becomes a waste....the rule of thumb is 50w per sqf...i think you would be nice with a 400w hps...they can be found on ebay all the time for 100 to 120 or so...
