I recently read a post by someone who said they were gonna grow using 12/12 lighting from the start. But that are the benefits of this? I assume it would simply put the plant into flower as early as possible in it's lifetime.

Any thoughts?

if you use 12/12 from the start, it would just be simulating an outdoor setting, plants would turn out fine it would just take 6 months instead of three

how the hell does that simulate nature? I go outside right now and there is waaay more than 12 hours of sun. It only simulates late fall, which is only good for flowering. IMO do not do 12/12 through whole grow.

i will just grow a lil and after it will just start flowering,,,,ive senn this happen outdoors

so basically there aren't many benefits from doing this

if youre restricted because of height, or only have one grow room which is allready flowering some plants, then 12/12 from seed can be okay.



this was grown 12/12 from seed. the strain is ak48 which is an indica.

I started 24hrs and still with it at 3 weeks they run 24 a day. Now the only problem I have it 12/12 when I want it to flower ? and 18/6 during budding ? Please correct me if I am wrong..

18/16 or 16/8 for vegetative growth and 12/12 for flowering
