Lowlife lighting?

Alright so i just started growing some ak47-lowlifes and was wondering once the girls start to flower what should the lighting cycle be 12/12, 18/6, or 14/8. I am wondering because some sites say even when lowlifes are flowering you should keep them on a higher lighting period rather then the normal 12/12. I really would like to know peoples opinions.

I'm new to this growing scene, but I believe you must have the lights off for at least 12 hours to induce flowering.

Not sure on Autos but norm is 12/12 And i Haven't seen anything from people doing 18/6 with them but I COULD BE WRONG!

the more light the better!! autos flower due to age not due to light cycles!!! keep them constantly under 20/4 lighting!! u dont need to change the light scheme during flowering as it will only reduce your yield!!

Iv not long finished an auto flowering grow.

THe plants are best grown at 18/6 from start to finish. the plants do not need to be switched to 12/12 as they are autoflowering.

if anything if you switch to 12/12 you will lower the final yield of the plant.

best advice = keep them on 18/6 from seed to harvest.

good luck

thats wat i thought so thank you guys 20/4 it is with hps bulb
20/4 will only cost you more in electric and really wont make any difference on the yield.

the man who developed lowryders stated that he found them to be best grown at 18/6.

iv grown them myself and 18/6 works perfectly and costs less to run.

i know what u mean!! just wanted to be abit meticulous hehehe!!! anyways i have mine under 20/4 since imho more light is good and since they mature by age rather than life cycle!!! i was thinking maybe changing to 18/6 once my babies start flowering but havent decided yet i had someone argue that he saw best results with this light scheme!! anyways if you want to check my journal as its my first real grow i would appreciate it and any comments!!! peace and love!!!

here to make you both happy i will do 19/5 so deal with it lol
haha now there's an unusual one :bigjoint:

na like i said how people grow is merely down to what they have learned there is no real right and wrong way. the best way to learn is to teach yourself through experience that way there no right or wrong way cause its your way

i hope your grow turns out well and i wish ya the best of luck.

happy growing
